The Lighthouse Restored
When spring came, the lighthouse gleamed again. A bronze plaque was placed near the steps: “In Honor of Arthur Lane, Keeper of Greyhaven Light.”
Emily read the words aloud to him as the sea wind fluttered her notebook pages. “Looks official,” he said softly. “But the real honor’s in keeping her lit.”
