Dr. Martin Green, a renowned herpetologist, and university professor agreed to meet John the following day. As they trudged through the marshland, John pointed to the masses of jelly. What he initially believed to be frogspawn was larger than usual, and appeared to be positioned rather peculiarly, much deeper in the water than normal. Dr. Green hunched down, examining the masses meticulously. And then he delivered his verdict – the masses were not frogspawn but actually an entirely different kind of eggs!
