Intrigued and not a little excited, Jeremy rushed to inform Mr. Scott, the homeowner, about what he had discovered. Expecting surprise or shock, Jeremy was taken aback when Mr. Scott looked unfazed by the account of the buried tube. Instead, he responded with a knowing, mysterious smile. “Ah, so you’ve found it. Let me show you something,” he said and led Jeremy into his home.
