Mr. Scott was a descendant of a prolific inventor named Randall Scott known for his eccentric tendencies. As per the news article, he had concealed several metal tubes, identified as time capsules, in numerous locations around town. And now, more than six decades later, one of these capsules had surfaced in his own backyard.
