Suddenly, a glimmer of sunlight bounced off something strange amidst the thick brushes of resplendent fall leaves. It was an object completely out of place in those woods – a moss-laden wrought-iron gate, its paint worn and chipped by the ravages of time hidden within the hedge. Mike was perplexed. This was not a place for a gate or any human-made structure for that matter. His initial surprise soon began to simmer into unquenchable curiosity.
