Upon safely removing the thorn, Bo seemed to perceive the relief instantly. Although groggy and disoriented from the tranquilizer, he started to move his previously immobilized paw. The development sparked relief and much joy to his worried caretaker, and sure enough, after a couple of days of deserved rest, Bo was back to his usual self – roaming, splashing around, and being the king of the reserve.
