This colossal specimen was an anaconda in its prime, almost mythical in length, showcasing nature in its rawest form. Further surprise was in store when they found out this particular snake differed from previous anacondas spotted around the area. It was an Eunectes murinus or, more commonly known as the green anaconda, which is not usually seen in their locality. The presence of this mammoth green anaconda truly made it an event that would go down in local folklore.
