Jerry Johnson, a man of few words, kept to himself. His neighbors saw him as unique at best and eccentric at worst. His house, although well-maintained, was unlike any other. It contained a medley of handcrafted furniture, tech gadgets, and countless drawings of infrastructure plans strewn all around. His career as an engineer had never really ended even after retirement, just diversified, as he always said.
