Tom’s incredible discovery began as a mundane afternoon of gardening. Engrossed in his task of weeding out his vegetable patch, he felt a hard object lodged deep within the soil. It seemed out of place amidst the usual garden finds of pebbles and earthworms. He pulled out a mud-encrusted, ancient-looking watch. Intrigued, he dusted off years of grime and roots entangled around this prehistoric artefact. What lay in his hands was a vintage timepiece that was way beyond its years but had a charm that was inexplicably magnetic.
